K9 Valor | East Hempfield Township Police Department

Joining the ranks of East Hempfield Township Police is K9 Valor! His name is special in the police world, meaning great courage in the face of danger. But don't worry, K9 Valor isn't your typical police dog. You won't see him out on patrol catching bad guys. His job is a little bit different.

With experienced handler Detective David Bender by his side, they make the perfect team! Their mission is to bring a bright and softer side to policing, kind of like a ray of sunshine! This special team will provide support to fellow officers, victims of crime, and smiles to the faces of everyone in their community. You guys rock!

Thanks for signing up for such an important role K9 Valor! We can't wait to see what you will bring to your team of men and women in blue! If you see Detective Bender and K9 Valor out and about in East Hempfield, be sure to stop and say hello!

IT'S TIME TO BUILD!
September 15th-18th and September 22nd-27th

We are so excited to build the Tree House this month! Swings, slides, towers, zip-lines, and more are coming to Lititz!

Hempfield recCenter playground staff are offering a great service- evening playground child watch!
Try it out tonight!

Evening Playground Watch begins tomorrow evening!

We are so excited to offer this service to busy parents in our community. Beginning tomorrow evening, June 13 and every Wednesday evening through August 1, bring your kids (ages 5–12) to beautiful Amos Herr Park in East Hempfield Township from 6:00–7:30 pm for supervised FUN while you run errands!
