Town of Landover Hills The Town of Landover Hills was incorporated in 1945, it is the home to approximately 1500 people. It is not an open forum for public comment.

The sole purpose of this page is the dissemination of information to the public. Therefore, although members of the public may be permitted by the site’s design to post comments, the Town reserves the right to delete any comments.

Please note that trash and recycling collection will resume on Tuesday, September 8th.

❤️📢 Nibbles Nook will host its monthly Pet Pantry on Saturday, September 5, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., to help support Prince George’s County residents and their beloved pets.

🐶🐱 Dog and cat food will be available for County residents while supplies last!
As food scarcity continues to impact families in our community, access to pet food is more important than ever.

The Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) will conduct mosquito spraying on Thursday, August 27, 2026, beginning after 9:00 p.m.
Mosquito Control personnel will apply an EPA-approved, permethrin-based solution used in public health mosquito control programs. This treatment does not pose unreasonable risks to human health.
As a precaution, residents are encouraged to avoid outdoor activities while spraying is in progress.
➡️If weather conditions prevent spraying, the treatment will be rescheduled.

Aviso de Fumigación contra Mosquitos
El Departamento de Agricultura de Maryland (MDA) realizará una fumigación para el control de mosquitos el Jueves 27 de Agosto del 2026, después de las 9:00 p.m.
El personal de Control de Mosquitos aplicará una solución a base de permetrina, aprobada por la EPA para los programas de control de mosquitos de salud pública. Este tratamiento no representa riesgos irrazonables para la salud humana.
Como medida de precaución, se recomienda a los residentes evitar las actividades al aire libre mientras se esté realizando la fumigación.
