Unfortunately Mother Nature has plans for rain this weekend so the City of Landrum’s Hogback Mountain Day has been rescheduled for next Saturday, September 21, 2024!
This will be a free, fun filled day for the whole family as we celebrate the best mountain backdrop our little city could ever have!

THE CITY OF LANDRUM’S HALLOWEEN STROLL IS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2024 FROM 5:00pm-7:00pm.
Trick or Treat fun along North Trade Avenue and throughout downtown! Our local businesses will be handing out candy to all the goblins!
We had over 3,000 spookies in attendance for last year’s stroll! Save the date ‘cause you don’t want to miss this!

*For the safety of our children.....North Trade Avenue and East Rutherford Street from Highway 176 (Howard Avenue) to Lyles Avenue will be closed to all through traffic until 7:30pm*

*THERE WILL BE DETOURS…..SO IF YOU’RE AN IMPATIENT PERSON, PLEASE LEAVE EARLIER OR FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE BECAUSE…..WE LOVE THE CHILDREN IN OUR COMMUNITY AND THEIR SAFETY IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE! THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Good news for the citizens of Landrum. The entire City Council, Mayor and City Administrator have worked tirelessly over the last couple of months to produce a budget that would serve in the best interest of the City of Landrum. This group effort and attention to the upcoming needs of the City is what makes this group of individuals an asset to Landrum.

This Memorial Day, the Landrum Area Fire and Rescue District pays tribute to the courageous individuals who gave their lives to protect our freedom. We encourage everyone to reflect on their sacrifices and the values they fought to protect. Enjoy this time with your loved ones as we kick off the summer season.

DRUG AWARENESS EVENT SUNDAY, APRIL 21, 2024 6:00pm-8:00pm

Fighting the Epidemic: Raising Awareness. Saving Lives
This community event will provide several resources for the purpose in raising awareness about the drug epidemic, substance abuse, mental health, and to help save lives.
The following groups will be on site sharing various materials in order to help educate the community by providing information for drug awareness: Favor Upstate of Spartanburg, Regenesis of Spartanburg, the Forrester Center of Spartanburg, Carolina Center for Behavioral Health Greenville, and the Well Recovery-Landrum along with local Law Enforcement and State Representatives. You don’t have to be struggling with addiction or have a family member that is struggling. These resources will be beneficial for those who also want to learn more about addiction and how it affects their lives. With this community-based prevention approach, the City of Landrum is committed in helping try to eliminate substance use and abuse. It is essential for us to promote the importance of prevention and its role in ensuring the health and safety of our community.

Be sure to come out to the Cunningham Market Pavilion located at 221 West Rutherford Street, Landrum, SC on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Please bring a folding chair and a friend!
