Congratulations to our August RED Staff member of the Month, P.E. Assistant Ellen Anne Williams, and RED Faculty member of the Month, School Librarian Angela Moore! Here's what their peers had to say about them:

"Ellen Anne Williams has been a wonderful addition to the LMS family! She arrives early each day and willingly helps monitor students in the cafeteria before the school day begins. She always has a positive attitude and is ready to step in wherever she is needed throughout the day. Her dependability, flexibility, and willingness to help truly demonstrate Respect, Excellence, and Determination. We are so grateful to have her on our team!"

"Mrs. Moore wears so many hats at this school and does a great job in all of them. She goes above and beyond to support our students and our teachers. She is responsible for many of the events and activities that make our school fun. She is always willing to help with new lesson ideas or technology innovations (or challenges) in classrooms. Mrs. Moore truly makes our school a special place to teach and learn."

How do we know what happened thousands of years ago? By digging into the past! 🔍 Students in Mrs. Ballentine's 6th Grade Social Studies class became junior archaeologists during their Cookie Excavation Lab. Students practiced the patience and precision needed to uncover "fossils". This lab helped to bring their Stone Age unit to life!🦴🍪
