Due to the Dakota Transit Association Conference being held in Rapid City, SD this fall Cavalier County Transit will not be providing after school transportation Monday through Thursday; September 16th through the 19th. After school transportation will resume on Friday, September 20th.

Going into the upcoming school year, Cavalier County Transit will no longer be providing morning school transportation. We will transport students afterschool, however they have to be in kindergarten or higher. We will provide transportation for the 11:10 kids that are over at St. A's to take them home or to daycare. We will also be enforcing our "no show" policy as we had too many kids last year that did not show up for their rides after school.

The last few days of last week were bittersweet! After 12 years at Cavalier County Transit Carleen turned the keys over to Alex Mikkelsen! Over the years we've grown our young clientele to where we need 2 buses after school to pick up all the students! Pre-K graduation is always a highlight of the year! Good luck to all and have a great summer!

May 1st is the change over day to our new software. We are hoping for a smooth transition but we are all familiar with technology. Please be patient if someone gets missed, we'll do the best we can to keep things moving!
