Middletown Fire & Emergency Services Career fire department protecting the residents of Middletown Township and the boroughs within.

Middletown Fire & Emergency Management operates Engine and Special Service 244 routinely Monday - Friday 0630hrs - 1700hrs. During that time Fire Inspectors, who are also trained firefighters, staff apparatus which is dispatched on all fire related emergencies in the Township and surrounding Boroughs. Both the Engine and Special service are often dispatched to assist our local EMS agency as well


When not responding to emergency situations we are out doing fire prevention activities. This includes, but is not limited to completing over 1800 fire safety inspections, numerous smoke detector installations, public safety education and emergency management duties. If you have any questions or need additional information about our department please contact us on messenger or at 215-750-3812. Please also contact us if you or someone you know is in need of smoke detectors. They are free of charge and could potentially save you or a loved ones life!

Turns out fourth graders are tougher competition than expected!

Middletown Township Fire & Emergency Services & Penndel-Middletown EMS had a blast playing kickball with the fourth grade class at Herbert Hoover Elementary. While the firefighters may have taken the L, the fun (and bragging rights) definitely went to the students! Thanks for an awesome game! 🔥

Yesterday morning, members of our team stopped by the new Neshaminy Ridge Development in Levittown for pre-incident planning. Crews had the opportunity to review building construction features and floor plans to better prepare for any future emergencies or incidents at the site.

Upon arrival, crews found that the driver was able to self-extricate from the vehicle.
