Engine 244’s crew joined Rescue 45, Engine 73, and members of the William Penn Fire Company for pre-incident planning and facility familiarization at the George School this morning.

Crews walked the campus and discussed building layouts, access points, apparatus placement, and other important emergency response considerations.

We would like to thank the George School Public Safety for hosting us and supporting this valuable training opportunity!

Did you know members of our team are involved in fire prevention and education efforts that extend beyond our township?

Battalion Chief Alan Welsh and Lieutenant Riley Collins are members of Bucks County Fire Professionals Aiding Children, working alongside fire service professionals throughout Bucks County to support the organization’s mission of prevention, education, and intervention.

Bucks Fire PAC also recently launched its new page! We encourage our residents, fellow first responders, and community partners to give them a follow, share their page, and help spread the word about this valuable resource.

Members of Bucks County Fire PAC recently came together for a meeting to discuss upcoming initiatives, training opportunities, and ways we can continue strengthening our juvenile firesetter prevention and intervention efforts throughout Bucks County.

Meetings like these give our members an opportunity to collaborate, share ideas, and continue building partnerships that help us better serve children, families, and our local communities.

A special thank you to Penndel Volunteer Fire Company #1, Station 8 and Middletown Fire & Emergency Services for hosting our meeting and supporting FirePAC and our mission!

We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to sharing more of what FirePAC is working on!

244 units responded to a reported traffic accident with entrapment in Levittown earlier this month. Crews arrived to find a vehicle that had struck a tree. Upon arrival, it was determined there was no entrapment. The driver was evaluated and transported by the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad.

The Middletown Community Foundation is hosting its inaugural Blazing Paddles Pickleball Tournament to benefit the MCF Fire Safety Fund, supporting fire and life safety initiatives right here in our community!

📅 Saturday, September 12, 2026
📍 Firefighters’ Park – 712 Poplar Street, Langhorne
⏰ Tournament: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🏓 Player Check-In: 8:30 AM

All skill levels are welcome! Grab a partner and join us for a double-elimination tournament with Recreational/Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced divisions.

Members of our team recently attended the Bucks County Emergency Management Agency’s 3rd Quarter Municipal In-Service Training, which focused on Emergency Alert and Warning.

Battalion Chief Alan Welsh and Lieutenant Riley Collins of Middletown Township Fire & Emergency Services attended alongside Middletown Township Public Information Officer Liz Martin.

The training provided valuable information on emergency notification and warning systems, effective public messaging, and the coordination necessary to quickly provide residents with accurate and timely information during an emergency.
