On Tuesday, November 4, 2025 (Election Day), the Langhorne Borough Recreation Board will hold its final park cleanup and maintenance day of the year starting at 11:00 AM at Mayor’s Playground. Community members are invited to come out and lend a hand in keeping the park clean and ready for the winter season.

Pizza and water will be available for volunteers. Please spread the word and let us know if you plan to join us.

On behalf of the Langhorne Borough Recreation Board, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Chief Kevin Burns on his new position. We also thank the Langhorne Borough Police Department for their continued dedication to keeping the Mayor’s Playground and our community safe.

SWEARING-IN OF POLICE CHIEF KEVIN BURNS

At today’s Council Meeting, there will be a public swearing-in of our new Police Chief, Kevin Burns. Chief Burns has served the Borough as a part-time patrol officer since 2021, responding to calls and overseeing Borough events. He brings over thirty-seven years of law enforcement experience to the role, most recently as a school police officer and Supervisor of Security & Safety of the Centennial School District.

Chief Burns’ community-oriented approach to policing, and the knowledge and expertise he has honed over a long and fruitful career, will be invaluable to the Borough, and we are pleased to welcome him to his new role.

We love seeing families and kids enjoying our park and playground! Recently, some of the swings were flipped upside down, which can damage the equipment and make it unsafe for others to use.

We kindly ask everyone to help us keep the playground safe, fun, and welcoming by treating the equipment with care and respect.
