Since the Shade Tree Commission did not have enough volunteers to serve, the Falls Supervisors merged the advisory body with the Environmental Advisory Council.

On April 25, Falls EAC members Jeannine and Max joined other township EACs at the annual regional meeting, this year being hosted by Lower Makefield Township. They presented on our EAC efforts including Earth Day efforts, community education, Bird Town PA, Falls Township, cleanups, and more. It was honor to represent Falls Township at this level with other like-minded people.

Supervisor Mullen provided some encouraging comments on Falls EAC efforts recently. We are grateful to have a considerate and communicative supervisory board that encourages community education, engagement, and environmental conservation.

Falls EAC attended the Earth Day event hosted by at mall. Members happily engaged with residents and mall-goers, answering questions, and providing freebies. A resounding success of an event.

"The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the April 25 PA Bulletin inviting comments on an Air Quality Plan Approval to add 3 diesel generators and related storage tanks and 280 natural gas-fired backup generators to an Amazon Data Services A.I. data center project in Falls Twp., Bucks County. (PA Bulletin, page 2290)
No hearing has been scheduled on this permit, but one can be requested.

DEP will accept comments until May 25-- 30 days after this notice.

Requests to review the permit application should be sent to the DEP Southeast Regional Office Air Quality Program, 2 East Main Street, Norristown 19401 or call 484-250-5900.
