Good run to the valley this weekend!
Thank you to the clients who kept their critters in the barn for almost a week to make sure they were dry. I appreciate you 😊

Moving forward. We are considering requiring a deposit to book an appointment.
I’m done wasting countless hours making a schedule to have it shot to hell.
I’ll keep you guys posted on that.

If this comb could talk! This comb belonged to my great-grandfather. I am uncertain of the years he spent in New Zealand shearing, but this is one of the combs that he did not bring back; it remained. I am unsure of its whereabouts while there. Recently, a friend of mine visited family in New Zealand and, while visiting friends, my family came up in conversation; they did some digging in the shed and found this comb!

Best we can figure is the cut off the outside teeth off to add on flared teeth to grab more wool.
I have his old brass handpiece that ran these combs too! Pretty cool how things like this can travel so far and tell so many stories.
