This Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Under the Lights Car Show returns to Lansdale!

To accommodate the event, West Main Street will be closed to all traffic from Valley Forge Road to Broad Street from 3:00 PM until approximately 11:00 PM. Several surrounding side streets will also be closed. All closures will be clearly marked.

Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes when possible.

On June 19, 1865, enslaved African Americans were notified of their freedom by Union troops in Galveston Bay, TX. Known as , this day is widely celebrated as the end of slavery in the United States – two and a half years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation.

This Friday, Lansdale Offices will be CLOSED in honor of this milestone and the rich history behind the Juneteenth celebration. But we also recognize that the fight is far from over. Racial differences and discrimination persist. Acknowledging and conversing about the history of racial inequality in our country allows us as a community to change the narrative. Thank you Lansdale for standing together peacefully and having your voices be heard. Thank you for focusing on what unites us instead of what divides us. Thank you for illustrating how to work together toward a deeper commitment to equality.

ATTENTION PARENTS, GUARDIANS, AND ALL MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC

The SEPTA parking garage has become a gathering location for juveniles, young adults, and adults, resulting in reports of fights, underage drinking, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and other unlawful activity. This behavior has required repeated police response and ongoing enforcement.

To be clear: the SEPTA parking garage is private property and is intended solely for the parking of vehicles. Being in the garage for anything other than its intended purpose is not permitted and may constitute trespassing.

The Lansdale Borough Police Department has increased patrols in and around the facility and will continue directed enforcement and other lawful strategies to address these issues. Individuals found loitering, trespassing, or engaging in unlawful conduct will be subject to enforcement action, including citations, arrests, and juvenile referrals when appropriate.

Parents and guardians are strongly advised not to drop off or allow juveniles to use the parking garage as a meeting place or gathering spot. Adults are also advised that using this location as a hangout or meeting area is not permitted.

Enforcement will continue, and further action will be taken as necessary to ensure the property is used only for its intended purpose.

Cycling is a great way for kids to stay active, build confidence and enjoy more independence while getting where they need to go. It also helps reduce traffic around busy community spots, like the pools, making streets safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

For young riders, safety comes first! Always wear a properly fitted helmet, use bike lanes or designated trails. When available, follow traffic signals and make sure bikes are in good working condition before heading out. Let’s enjoy the trip as much as the destination this pool season!

Our charging stations are a shared resource and a few simple habits can make a big difference for everyone. Starting June 15, it will cost to charge your EVs so please remember to move your vehicle promptly once charging is complete so others can access the station. Charging spaces are intended for active use only, so vehicles should not occupy a spot if they are not actively charging.

During busier times, being mindful of how long you remain at a station helps improve availability across the system. Reminder that idle rates begin accruing five (5) minutes after your vehicle is fully charged so it’s best to move quickly to avoid those fees!
