In June, we celebrate Pride Month. This is a chance to uplift our LGBTQ+ neighbors and continue our efforts to create a world that’s safe, united, and accepting for all, no matter who they love. As an ally, I remain committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community and protecting their hard-earned freedoms here in PA.

This morning I gathered with the congregation of St John's UCC Lansdale, PA in song and praise to celebrate their 150th Anniversary. Colleagues and friends such as Senator Maria Collett, Pastor Fritz Fowler of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale, PA, Suzan Neiger Gould of Manna on Main Street and Lansdalepa Mayor Rachael Bollens joined me in honoring the deep and lasting impact St. John's has had on our community. Echoing Pastor Linda: this milestone is a comma, not a period. Thank you, St. John’s, for all you have done and all the good we know you will continue to do.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, neighbors, colleagues and fellow officers of Officer Kristen Yeager who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty on May 29, 2026. We mourn, along with many others this heartbreaking loss and wish peace and comfort to all who knew and loved her.

Officer Yeager’s dedication to her duty of service and community was remarkable. Her duty to serve and protect her community and others at risk to herself is remembered. Please keep her family, community and fellow Officers in your prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.

May her memory be eternal.

Today, our department mourns the heartbreaking loss of Officer Kristen Yeager, who made the ultimate sacrifice while responding to a call for service on May 29, 2026.

Officer Yeager served our community with courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication. She answered the call to protect and serve each day, placing the safety of others above her own. Her commitment to her badge, her fellow officers, and the citizens she served will never be forgotten.

We ask that you keep Officer Yeager’s family, friends, and our entire law enforcement family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, Officer Yeager. Your watch has ended, but your legacy of service and sacrifice will live on forever. We got it from here.

Yesterday, I had the chance to tour Parx Racetrack with my fellow Pennsylvania legislators. It was great to see firsthand the impact the horse racing industry has on our economy and the many families and communities it supports across the Commonwealth.

Thank you to the Pennsylvania Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association - PTHA and PA BRED who welcomed us and shared their insights into this important Pennsylvania industry!

Last night, I got to attend the first Telford Night Market of the 2026 season! Thank you to all the vendors, organizers, and attendees for bringing the excitement to this community institution, and a special shoutout to Telford Happenings, Inc for making it all possible.
