Since 2018, it has been an honor and a privilege to attend your graduation and celebrate this milestone with you.

Every year, I am inspired by the determination, resilience, and potential of Penn Wood students. When the world tells you what you can't do, you look back and say, "Watch this."

I am so proud of each and every one of you and all that you've accomplished. No matter what comes next—college, career, military service, trade school, or something entirely your own—I know you will do amazing things.

Our 4th of July Parade is right around the corner, and we need YOU to help make it special.

We're looking for classic cars, community groups, sports teams, performers, scouts, decorated bikes, local organizations, and neighbors who want to be part of this great Lansdowne tradition.

Happy Founders Day, Lansdowne! 🎉

Today we celebrate the incorporation of our borough on June 7, 1893—133 years ago. That's 133 years of neighbors helping neighbors, residents stepping up to serve, and generations of people choosing to make Lansdowne home.

Over the years, our community has seen a lot of change. We've grown, adapted, faced challenges, and continued moving forward. From preserving the character and history that make Lansdowne special to embracing new opportunities that help our borough thrive, we've never stopped working to make this community even better.

But if you ask me, the greatest thing about Lansdowne isn't our beautiful homes, our walkable downtown, or even our rich history. It's our people.

It's the volunteers who give their time, the small business owners who invest in our community, the neighbors who show up for one another, and the residents who care deeply about where they live. That sense of community is what has carried Lansdowne through the last 133 years, and it's what will continue to guide us into the future.

Thank you to everyone who helps make Lansdowne the incredible place it is today. Here's to celebrating our past, appreciating our present, and continuing to build an even brighter future together.

What a day!! 🎉

I didn't even get a chance to post where I'd be this weekend because I was on the move all day.

🌈 Started the morning celebrating Pride at the Lansdowne Farmers Market.

🎂 Swung by Travers Food Market to help celebrate their 40th anniversary.

🎤 Wrapped up the day in Media at Drag Bingo supporting UTDJ.

As a bonus, I even won a basket!

Now, full disclosure: winning required me to do my best catwalk. I know there's video somewhere, so I figured I'd get ahead of it and confess now. 😂

From celebrating Pride, to supporting a local business milestone, to spending the evening with friends and neighbors for a great cause, it was one of those days that reminds me why I love this community so much.

I'm officially pooped, but my heart is full. What a great day. We really do have the best community. ❤️

🐾 Fun Friday story to kick off your weekend!

Fridays are the one day each week you'll reliably find me working from Borough Hall, meeting with staff and residents.

Today, though, I got word that some VIPs (Very Important Pets) had stopped by for a visit.

The Pickering family sent me the first photo just for fun, and as soon as I realized some of my furry friends were just downstairs, I had to go say hello.

I can't guarantee I'll leave every meeting to greet visitors—but if you're accompanied by a dog, cat, or other furry friend, your chances definitely improve. 😄🐾
