Music and dance filled the stage at East Lansdowne Elementary School for their Juneteenth assembly on June 3rd. Thanks to all of the teachers who prepared songs and dances with their students for the upcoming holiday and to all of the families who came out to enjoy the performances. Congratulations to the cast and crew of "In the Heights"! Directed by Judy Jordan, this outstanding production brought together Penn Wood High School alumni alongside current students from Penn Wood Middle School and the Ninth Grade Academy. It was a wonderful example of the Penn Wood community coming together across generations to create something truly special.

From the powerful singing and energetic dancing to the impressive set design, colorful costumes, and exceptional acting, every aspect of the production reflected the talent, dedication, and hard work of everyone involved. The cast and crew delivered an unforgettable performance and showcased the creativity and spirit that make the performing arts such an important part of the Penn Wood experience.

Thank you to all of the students, alumni, staff, families, and supporters who helped make "In the Heights" such a tremendous success. Bravo! 👏🎭✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Donuts with Dads event at East Lansdowne Elementary School on June 3!

We were thrilled to welcome so many dedicated fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and male role models into our building to share a morning of great conversation, smiles, and breakfast treats.

We also want to recognize the wonderful staff and volunteer team who organized and managed the event, ensuring a successful morning for our families.
