A Heat Advisory is in effect across parts of Michigan, with heat index values expected to reach 90–100Β°F.

When temperatures rise, so does the risk of heat-related illness. Heat exhaustion can quickly become heat stroke if not recognized and treated.

Employers should take steps to protect workers:

πŸ’§ Providing cool drinking water
🌳 Allowing rest breaks in shaded or cool areas
πŸ“… Adjusting work schedules when possible
πŸ‘· Acclimating new and returning workers to hot conditions

Don't wait until someone shows signs of heat illness. Plan ahead and protect your workforce.
