I LOVE my LCC Star Family! Here are some of the faces that work hard on our campuses. And, it's always good to see my colleague"s Trustees Frazier and Garcia, and LCC President, Dr. Steve. Robinson. They always show up and support! Also, Lansing Community College ELT and our Board Liaison was present and cheering for everyone. What a great award celebration! ❤️❤️❤️

Today was ammmmaaazing!! This is what I truly like to do.. highlight and celebrate others😁😁😁. It was an honor to welcome attendees to the LCC Employee Service Awards. OMG, and seeing the faces of committed and dedicated staff, faculty, and administrators who continue to serve after 45, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, and 5 years....is PHENOMENAL and well deserved! Thank you ALL for your tireless work, heart, and passion to change lives, each and every day! As Chair of the Board of Trustees of Lansing Community College, I commend everyone who took park in organizing this event, in any capacity....thank you thank you thank you. Well done👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼💯♥️♥️♥️

I LOVE LCC! And, when I have a chance to represent our community college, I go all in. We are here on Mackinac Island at the MCCA Summer Conference listening and learning to govern better for students, staff, faculty, and Administration.

Being on this island is pure peace and moments of relaxation because we are here for an educational purpose. It's great not hearing the hustle and bustle of engines, horns, inhaling emissions or pollution, and just getting back to the basics of life. It's kind of stuck in time but with elements of 21st century technology. If you have an opportunity to spend just one day on the island I would strongly encourage it. Here's a snippet of my room.
