The Michigan Braille and Talking Books Library, housed in the Library of Michigan, is part of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped in the Library of Congress and the Network of Regional and Sub-regional Libraries. The Michigan Braille and Talking Book Library provides free talking book and Braille service to all Michigan residents who are unable to use standard pri

nt materials because of a temporary or permanent visual impairment, physical disability, or reading disability. The Library of Congress National Library Service, pursuant to P.L. 85-522, administers the talking book program.
