Twenty-five years later, we still remember.

On September 11, 2001, our nation experienced an unimaginable tragedy that forever changed countless lives. Today, we honor the innocent lives lost, the bravery of the first responders, and the resilience that united our country in the days that followed.

Here in Delta Township, we are reminded that our greatest strength is our community. By caring for our neighbors, supporting one another, and standing together through difficult times, we carry forward the spirit of unity that emerged 25 years ago.

Today, we remember. We honor. We stand united.

Grand Woods Park Notice

Please be advised that there will be a large Middle School Cross Country Meet today at Grand Woods Park.

The park will be busier than usual, with increased traffic, runners, spectators, and activity throughout the park. Please plan accordingly if you are visiting Grand Woods Park today.

Refs will work 2-3 games and will make $20/game for the next 6 weeks.

King’s Court Barber Company just opened a new barbershop at 6209 W. Saginaw Hwy., Suite E. in Delta Township. King’s Court is located within the shopping center on the south side of W. Saginaw Hwy., just east of N. Creyts Rd. After establishing the business in Okemos, the owners recently moved the shop to Delta Township, and we are excited for them to grow in our community. Great News! The Eaton County Road Commission announced this afternoon that the Webster Road bridge is open to vehicle traffic. There are some finishing touches yet to be completed over the next month that will require intermittent lane closures at times. The multi-use pathway will remain closed until the completion of the Hawk Meadow Park connector pathway is complete.

Eaton County Road Commission crews will be out Thursday, August 13th fog sealing Willow Hwy between Canal Rd and the Grand Ledge city limits.

You may experience some delays while crews are working. Please slow down, give crews plenty of room, and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
