Please join our Fall 2026 Little Wolves Preschool Program for ages 3-5
Preschool meets on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays.
Preschool runs November 10th - May 6th
Tuesday and Thursday Preschool is 10:40-12:15
Wednesday Preschool is 10:05 - 11:15

TFS students in our Child Care practicum course develop comprehensive lesson plans based on age-appropriate developmental milestones to ensure your child has a preschool experience of the same caliber as other day care or preschool programs!

Did you hear? TF North and TF South are planning a Spring Break 2027 trip to SPAIN! Interested in learning more? There will be an informational meeting this Wednesday, September 2 at 6:00 pm in the TF North LRC, or next Thursday, September 10, also at 6:00 pm but in the TF South LRC. You can attend either meeting no matter which school you attend.

We will also have a meeting for parents to learn about financial aid opportunities for this trip on Thursday, September 17, during our Parent-Teacher conferences (time TBD).

D215 Families and Staff,
We are devastated by the impact that the recent severe weather has had on our students, families, staff, and the greater community. Our hearts go out to all of those impacted by this natural disaster.

As we continue communications with our local municipalities and evaluate the state of our communities, we want to share that Wednesday, August 19th will be the earliest possible return to school date for our students. This tentative return date is dependent on full power being restored and our ability to ensure the safe transportation of our students.

We anxiously await the day we are able to welcome students back and are committed to supporting our communities. Families who need meals can pick up a “grab ‘n’ go” breakfast and lunch on Monday, August 17th and Tuesday, August 18th between the hours of 10 am-12 pm at the following locations:
• TF North High School (West side of building, Door W1 by cafeteria)
• TF Center High School (Door N3).

Additionally, our cafeteria staff will be stationed at the following community locations unless accessibility due to work crews prevents it:
• Schultz Park in Lansing 10:15-10:45 am
• Erfert Park in Lansing 11:00-11:30 am
• Lake View Community Park at the Curtis Granderson Municipal Baseball Complex in Lynwood 11:45 am- 12:15 pm

Your response will help the Village document the full impact of the storm, identify community needs, and support efforts to pursue available resources and assistance.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Classes have been cancelled on Friday, August 14th due to the storms and their continued impact on our communities. This will NOT be an e-learning day and it will need to be made up at the end of the school year. Please stay safe and watch for updates tomorrow for information regarding next week.

Two updates:

Due to yesterday's severe storms, TF South is still without power. We are cancelling Freshman Orientation for Thursday, August 13 2026. As of now, we WILL have school for all students on Friday, August 14.

Senior Sunrise for tomorrow (Thursday the 13th) has been rescheduled to Friday, August 21 at 5:30 am. Seniors, your tickets are still good - no need to repurchase them.
