A flood advisory has been issued for today until 3 pm for all of Eaton county due to the heavy rain fall. Several roadways throughout the county are flooded and impassable. FLOOD ADVISORY issued April 4 at 9:02AM EDT until April 4 at 3:00PM EDT by US National Weather Service Grand Rapids Michigan
🌊WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
📍WHERE...A portion of south central Michigan, including the following counties, Eaton and Ingham.
⏰WHEN...Until 3:00 PM EDT.
⚠️IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
➕ADDITIONAL DETAILS...At 9:00 AM EDT, reliable reports have been received of heavy rain in the advisory area. Several road closures and flooded roadways have been reported across Ingham and Eaton Counties. Total rainfall of 1.5-2.5 inches has been observed with up to 1 inch of additional rainfall possible.
