Judicial security is essential to the fair and effective administration of justice.

Judges, court staff, and court users all deserve a safe environment to work in and access the courts.

At NCSC, we help courts strengthen judicial security through risk assessments, security planning support, and practical tools designed for real court environments.

Our work supports courts in identifying vulnerabilities, improving preparedness, and implementing strategies that enhance safety and preserve public trust.

Morning Coffee & Honest Conversations ☀️

Sometimes the hardest conversations between parents aren’t about what we say—but how and when we say it.

A calm moment. A shared cup of coffee. A willingness to listen before responding.
That’s often the best place to start difficult questions, concerns, or worries.

Try this:
• Choose a low-stress time (not in the heat of the moment)
• Speak from your experience, not blame
• Listen to understand—not to win
• Keep the focus on the kids and the future

Disagreements don’t mean failure—and divorce isn’t the only answer. With the right support, tough conversations can lead to clarity, compromise, and stronger co-parenting.

Sometimes, all it takes is a conversation—and the courage to have it. 💙
