Looking for affordable ways to enjoy nature this summer? We have you covered!

👉 Designed as a partnership with urban youth organizations, Stepping Stones provides free programming aimed at fostering confidence, environmental awareness and a lifelong appreciation for nature for ages 9 and older. Learn more at Michigan.gov/SteppingStones

👉 Hosted at dozens of Michigan state parks, our explorer guide programs feature hands-on activities for all ages, including wildlife education, fishing clinics and guided hikes led by seasonal interpreters. Many programs are designed specifically for families and encourage children to explore Michigan’s forests, waterways and wildlife through fun, interactive experiences.
