Important Information for Families Attending the Upcoming Event
We are expecting a large number of guests, so we’re sharing the information below to help everyone move through check-in as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Please review these guidelines before arriving.
Check-In & Identification
· Everyone 18 and older must present a valid photo ID and sign a release/waiver.
· Parents/guardians must sign the waiver on behalf of children attending the event.
· Everyone should check in at the main reception area for the Central facility. A photo of the entrance is attached for reference. Your loved ones who live in E Dorm and East Campus will be brought to the Central facility for this event.
· Your loved one was provided a “ticket” indicating the session they are approved to attend and the names of their approved guests.
· You may arrive up to 30 minutes early to begin the check-in process.
· You must arrive within 30 minutes after your session start time. Guests arriving after that time will not be permitted to enter.
What to Bring
Please bring only your car keys and photo ID. Due to the large number of guests expected, we do not have storage space for cell phones, bags, or other personal belongings.
· All guests will need to pass through a metal detector. Please keep this in mind when choosing your attire.
· The facility’s usual visiting dress code will be enforced.
· Diaper bags are permitted, but please bring only basic necessities. Diaper bags will be checked and kept available for use as needed.
· A mother’s room will be available for nursing mothers.
Food & Refreshments
· A light lunch will be provided.
· Water will be available throughout the event.
· Since guests may be with us for several hours, you may wish to have something to eat before arriving as well.
Outdoor Event & Accessibility
· The event will take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
· A tent and seating will be available.
· Guests should be prepared to walk through the facility and to the outdoor yard.
· An elevator will be available for those who need it; however, because of the large number of guests expected, elevator use may result in additional wait times.
· Parking attendants will direct visitors to available parking areas.
· Shuttle rides will be available for guests who need assistance getting to the reception area.
Please Plan Ahead
We understand that there is a lot of information to keep in mind. These procedures are in place because we are expecting a very large turnout, and we want to make the check-in process as smooth and timely as possible for everyone.

Visitor Dress Code
All visitors must be appropriately dressed for visitation. The following dress code requirements apply to all visitors:
Required Undergarments
· All visitors must wear appropriate undergarments underneath their outer clothing.
· Males: Briefs or boxers must be worn.
· Females: Panties/underwear and a brassiere (bra) must be worn. Undergarments must be worn separately from and underneath outer clothing.
Prohibited Clothing and Attire
The following clothing or attire is not permitted:
· See-through or transparent clothing.
· Tank tops, halter tops, sleeveless shirts.
· Clothing that exposes the midriff.
· Clothing with revealing or low-cut necklines.
· Dresses or skirts with a slit that extends above the crease at the back of the knee. This applies to slits on the front, back, or sides of the garment.
· Shorts or cut-off shorts. Bermuda shorts and culottes are permitted if they are loose-fitting and reach the knee or below.
· Leggings or excessively tight-fitting pants, including spandex, stretch, or exercise-style clothing.
· Excessively tight-fitting jeans or slacks.
· Clothing that allows undergarments to be visible.
· Sagging pants.
· Tear-away clothing.
· Clothing with torn or open pockets, holes, or tears that expose the interior of the garment.
· Hats or caps.
· Shoes are required.
Additional Requirements
Visitors should choose clothing that is modest, appropriate for a correctional facility, and suitable for a family visitation environment.
The facility reserves the right to deny entry to any visitor who is dressed in violation of these requirements or whose attire is otherwise determined to be inappropriate for visitation.
