🦩 📚 Hometown gem joins the Library team 📚🦩

After a nationwide search, we’re thrilled to introduce our new full-time Youth Librarian, Genaya! A proud Lantana/Lake Worth local, Genaya grew up in our community and is excited to now help shape the next generation of readers, creators, and library lovers.

Genaya will graduate this Fall with her Master’s in Library & Information Science from and is ready to jump into teen programming and help coordinate youth programming alongside our Library team. Before joining the Town, Genaya worked with the Palm Beach County Legislative Delegation and the Florida Guardian ad Litem Office, continuing a career dedicated to public service. She brings both heart and dedication to everything she does. ❤️

We can’t wait to see the creative programs, welcoming spaces, and community connections Genaya will build for our kids and teens. Be sure to give her a warm welcome when you see her around the Library! ✨📚

Join us for creativity, games, and a little bit of Wonderland magic!

🐶 Kids can read to a PBSO therapy in a judgement free zone.�🎲 Teens are invited to put their vocabulary skills to the test during our Teen Scrabble Tournament.�📸 Learn how to preserve memories digitally in our Intro to Digital Scrapbooks workshop for teens.�🎩 And don’t miss the Friends Mad Hatter Tea Party, an afternoon of tea, treats, and whimsical fun!
