This week, we're celebrating the people who help make our library even better: the Friends of the Lantana Public Library!
Through fundraising, advocacy, and community support, our Friends help bring programs, resources, and new ideas to life right here in Lantana.

Three of our upcoming programs โ€” something for everyone! Reel Film Society will be watching โ€œHer,โ€ which should be interesting against the new landscape of AI and AI relationships. Itโ€™s a movie that says a lot about human loneliness, connection, and technology. It seemed like sci-fi when it came out, but what about now? We also have a lecture about composting in Palm Beach County - did you know commercial compost collection is strictly controlled and prohibited in PBC, while it is allowed in Broward and other counties? We are missing opportunities here in Palm Beach! If you havenโ€™t shown out to our library after dark speak easy, you must come and dress to impress - we are filming a video for our Foundation that night with Quintin Betancur !
