A statewide alert remains in effect through Friday at noon with the likelihood it will be extended into the week. Smoke from wildfires in Minnesota and Canada is moving through many of our communities and while it can affect anyone, some people need to take extra care:
⏺ Higher risk groups:
• Children and older adults
• People with asthma, COPD, or heart disease
• Pregnant people
• Anyone who works or exercises outdoors
⏺ What you can do:
• Limit outdoor activity & strenuous exercise
• Keep windows closed and run your A/C or air purifier on recirculate
• If you must be outside, an N95/KN95 mask can help reduce exposure
• Watch for symptoms like coughing, wheezing, chest tightness, or unusual fatigue
• Reach out to a doctor if you’re struggling to breathe

Update to our 4th of July activities parade at 2 and no activities out at the lake this year. Big ticket raffle,food and 50/50 boards will be at the fire barn. Fireworks at dusk!
