LAPORTE AREA COMMUNITY FOOD SHELF ORDER OF OPERATIONS
OPEN TUESDAYS 5:00-6:00PM; CLOSED 5TH TUESDAYS

The Laporte Area Community Food Shelf operates as a drive-up/curb-side service. The Food Shelf we be making changes to our operations. We will ask a family member to come in and register and/or update their registration information. Our staff will the order as the person is providing updated information. When registration is complete, the family member will be able to make choices of bread, bakery and produce items. Then return to their vehicle and we will deliver items to the vehicle.

The Food Shelf will continue to use reusable shopping bags. Shopping bag dimensions: length of 13.5”, width of 8”, height ot 14”. The number of shopping bags (1 or 2) is based on your household size. Your shopping list items are to fit in the number of shopping bags you are given. This does not include cereal, juice, hygiene items, or the extra meats. If your shopping list exceeds your bags, Food Shelf staff may adjust your order.
Other order of operations continue:
● Peggy will greet guests and update registration information.
● We will try to fill orders as they have been received.

The Laporte Area Community Food Shelf will continue to operate as a drive-up/curb-side service. Only Food Shelf volunteers will be allowed into the building.

The Food Shelf will be going back to using reusable shopping bags. Shopping bag dimensions: length of 13.5”, width of 8”, height ot 14”.The number of shopping bags (1 or 2) is based on your household size.
