For some, Fox Park means LakeFest weekend.

For others, it's an Arts in the Park concert on a summer evening. It's Movies in the Park with family.

A walk around Clear Lake. Watching fireworks from Maria Fruth Plaza.

A game at Ron Reed Field. Time spent at Thrills and Spills Skate Park.

A favorite trail. A neighborhood gathering place.

The truth is not all parkgoers experience it the same way. And that's what makes it special.

Fox Park is one of the places in La Porte where families, athletes, volunteers, nonprofits, businesses and neighbors all come together. It belongs to all of us.

On Friday, November 13, we invite you to attend the La Porte Park Foundation Gala: Fox Park Edition, a celebration of the people, events, memories, and experiences that have made Fox Park the heart of our community.

Think you are past the point of needing instruction? Join us on Wednesdays for supervised Open Studio and have access to all shared tools and equipment as well as an allotted 10 pounds of clay each month.

All Pottery Classes as well as Open Studio requires pre-registration. Secure your spot conveniently online at www.laporteparkandrec.com. Have questions? Call the Park Office (219-326-9600) for more information. The Park Office is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
