Dr. Gibbs presented a comprehensive session on “The Evaluation and Management of Burns.” We are incredibly grateful for his time, leadership, and expertise, which help medical professionals like us stay sharp at the forefront of specialized patient care 🏥🚑

🚨 PROGRAM UPDATE: READY FOR TOMORROW! 🚨
As we launch our Prehospital Blood Program tomorrow, June 1, 2026, we want to share a quick update on how this life-saving resource will be deployed in the field.
To ensure rapid, strategic coverage across the county, blood will be carried directly in our Command/Support ALS Captain vehicles! 🚑💨

We are incredibly proud to deploy this advanced capability to better serve LaPorte County. This program is a massive team effort alongside The American Red Cross and NW Health LaPorte Hospital.
Keep an eye out for our Captain vehicles on the road tomorrow—they are officially carrying the gift of life! 🩸✨

In times of tragedy, the lines between our departments disappear. We aren’t just separate agencies—we are one family, answering the same calls, working side-by-side, and sharing the same heart for LaPorte County.

Right now, our brothers and sisters at the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office are carrying an incredibly heavy burden. To the deputies, dispatchers, firefighters, and hospital staff who continue to hold the line despite the heartbreak: we are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with you, always.

To Deputy Jon Samuelson, his family, and everyone affected by this tragedy—we are wrapping our arms around you, and we will be right here beside you through the difficult days ahead. ❤️
