🧶 - HOW CRAFTY!!

Our friends at Laramie Sewing Guild WY put 75(!!!) of these goodie bags together for our clients! They also put so many things in it like coloring books, hygiene products, and stuffed animals!! 🧸

And they didn’t have to do this. They showed up to our office with these donations in their hands ready to be given to people in need. 💜

We are always here to help those in Albany County, but when people help us out it reminds us how much we love our neighbors. 🏔️

Guess who’s gonna be there??? 👋👋👋

Guess who’s gonna be there??? 👋👋👋

Finding a sense of place in a new town can be a challenge, but an upcoming event at WyoTech will aim to make that process easier by bringing the community

We want to keep the ball rolling with ✨volunteer appreciation✨!!

This is our friend Lily Marie. You might have seen her around Laramie-- she helps with so many groups and we're grateful we are one of them! She's been helping with our hotline since last summer and her help sets our clients up for success.

Let Lily Marie know how much she means to Laramie!

✨Volunteer appreciation week✨ rolls on!!

Today we’re give a big thanks to our two interns Leslie and Max!

Leslie has been with us for a few months but picked up the reins super quickly!

Max has been volunteering for SAFE for a bit longer and is always helping out in every facet around our offices!

We appreciate both of them for their positivity, hard work, and the fact that they’re willing to dedicate hours to clients in need!!

Show some love to Max and Leslie! 💜

👖LOOK AT ALL THAT DENIM!!

We joined in remembering Denim Day— a day to remember victims of sexual assault and r**e.

Back in 1990s Italy, an 18-year-old woman was r**ed by her 45-year-old driving instructor. He pulled one of her legs out of her jeans and hurt her. She and her family pressed charges against him. He was arrested and sentenced but eventually appealed the sentencing. The Italian Supreme Court sided with him saying “because the victim wore very, very tight jeans, she had to help him remove them and by removing the jeans it was no longer r**e but consensual sex.”

We wear denim and observe Denim Day to remind people that victims do not asked to be r**ed— no matter what they wear. We wear denim to remind people that there’s no place for that kind of victim-blaming mentality.

We hope you all can be a safe person to others in crisis or in need.

Stay informed
Stay empathetic
Stay SAFE
