UPDATE: The issues with the link have been resolved! Thank you for your patience.
Did you know that during the winter, the inside of the Wyoming Territorial Prison was often only 20 or 30 degrees warmer than the outside temperature? This is why we only hire seasonal employees for the summer and fall, so that they don't end up looking like Jack Torrance at the end of the Shining. But we have great news! We ARE hiring for the 2026 summer season. If you are interested in joining us, please follow the QR code or click the link in the comments.

We hope you'll join us for our First Day Hike tomorrow! We'll be meeting at the Gift Shop at 10AM, and heading out to the Greenbelt from there. It's looking like things will be mostly cloudy and warm for our walk, but please be for ready for wind and cooler temperatures.

This Friday and Saturday is our annual Holiday Light Trail event! 🎄Enjoy festive decorations, family-friendly fun, and hot cocoa from The Soda Pit, while supplies last. ☕☃

🎟️ Receive free admission with a donation of a new toy or non-perishable food item or regular admission fees apply.

NOTICE: SITE CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE. From December 4th to the 6th, the site will be closed. The holiday light show will still run during its regular hours, so please feel free to check it out during the evenings! We apologize for any inconvenience.

Cookies and hot chocolate will be available for all who would like them. We will head out from the site around 10:10 a.m. and walk out to the Greenbelt Trail. We will walk the trail for about a mile, and then turn around to head back to the site. Guests are welcome to stay with us for as long as they would like, but may turn around whenever they want and need.
