Last year Laramie Interfaith provided 680 Thanksgiving Baskets for members of our community. We believe that everyone deserves to celebrate the holidays with loved ones, no matter how hard the times are. Each year our Thanksgiving Baskets help an increasing number of families, which is both a challenge and an adjustment. We could use your help to continue providing these baskets in the future to those in need in Laramie, Wyoming.

Did you know that Laramie Interfaith distributed 520,000 lbs, or 15 semi-trucks of food just last year in Albany County? With 39,382 visits to the food pantry in 2025, that's almost 760 visits weekly! We are devoted to wiping out hunger for our neighbors, one visit at a time.

Laramie Interfaith pantry doesn't run on canned goods alone; it runs on volunteers. Over 200 of them, in fact. And we're always looking for more.

What does volunteering actually look like?
🥫 Stocking shelves and organizing donations
👋 Welcoming neighbors and helping them shop the pantry
📋 Logging donations, light office work, data entry
🧹 Keeping the space clean, tidy, and ready for the next visit

A few things to know:
✨ No experience needed
✨ Flexible scheduling
✨ Volunteers must be 14+

Whether you've got a couple of hours a week or a couple of hours a month, we can always use you!

Hi Laramigos! We have just received notice that power will be out on our block next Thursday, the 4th. Rocky Mountain Power will be working on the grid, which is out of our control. Please plan to use the pantry earlier in the week, and if you have an appointment that day, please be patient while we work to reschedule. For Wyoming residents, it takes an average of 20.3 years to save for a 10% down payment on a home. This traps many individuals and families in the expensive and fruitless cycle of renting: no equity, no ownership, no permanence. Meanwhile, according to the US Census, over 50% of renters in Albany County are “cost burdened,” meaning their rental costs exceed 30% of their pre-tax income. This leaves many members of our community choosing between rent, utilities, and other essentials.

Here at Laramie Interfaith, we offer services to help those facing hard decisions, including a food pantry, diapers, hygiene items, rental assistance, utility assistance, and children’s clothing. Last year, more than 1,000 households applied for rental or utility assistance. Our funding allowed us to assist only 200 of those applicants. This means that 6.88% of households in Laramie reached out to us for financial help last year.

We helped many of our neighbors, but with your support, we could help many more. Consider giving to Laramie Interfaith during WyoGives this year to make the biggest impact. Mark your calendars for WyoGives on July 15, 2026.

Interfaith will hold our monthly TEFAP (commodities) distribution at our location at 712 Canby St, next Friday!

The Emergency Food Assistance Program is a federal program that provides food free of charge to families in the lowest income brackets. We cannot guarantee what food will be included in the TEFAP delivery. We will distribute food until 2 p.m. or until supplies last.

The income guidelines for the distribution are as follows:
Household of 1: $2,461 monthly; $29,526 annually
Household of 2: $3,337 monthly; $40,034 annually
Household of 3: $4,212 monthly; $50,542 annually
Household of 4: $5,088 monthly; $61,050 annually
Household of 5: $$5,964 monthly; $$71,558 annually
Household of 6: $6,839 monthly; $82,066 annually
Household of 7: $7,715 monthly; $92,574 annually
Household of 8: $8,591 monthly; $103,082 annually
Household of 9: $9467 monthly; $120,861 annually
Household of 10: $10,343 monthly; $138,121 annually
Each additional member: +$876 monthly; +$10,508 annually
