Here in Albany County, we are all set for the Primary Election on Tuesday.

If you haven't seen the guest column by Governor Mark Gordon, I encourage you to take a few minutes to read it. There is so much new information coming at us every day. How do we keep up with it all—and how do we know what is true?

I think his column offers a good reminder to slow down, ask questions, look for the facts, and think carefully about what we're hearing. In public health, we are seeing firsthand how quickly misinformation can create confusion.

In a time when political conversations can become heated, a little thoughtfulness, honesty, and respect can go a long way.
