Saturday, April 11th at 1pm in The Village Center

Join the Library for a Puzzle Swap! Do you have a closet full of puzzles you’ve already completed? Would you like to pass those puzzles to someone who also enjoys doing puzzles and get new ones for yourself in return? The Swap is a great way for you to pick up some puzzles to work on during the holidays with friends and family!

How the Puzzle Swap works:

It’s simple! Bring any puzzles in good condition which you’d like to swap and leave them on the tables set up in the Village Center. When you drop off your puzzles, take a few puzzles home with you! Remember, this is a swap, not a donation drive. Stick around for a while to enjoy refreshments and work on a community puzzle.

The remaining puzzles left at the end of the day will be donated to the Library’s circulating puzzle collection, New Jewish Home, Sarah Neuman in Mamaroneck and Puzzles-to-Remember, a non-profit organization that distributes puzzles to facilities that care for people with Alzheimer’s disease.

NOW OPEN!

"We are proud to feature this exhibit in honor of Women’s History Month. Dr. Jane Goodall is a powerful example of being a force for good in the world. After her passing in October 2025, our grandfather, Kenneth Love, showed us photographs he took of Dr. Goodall in Tanzania. We learned more about her life through his photos, articles, and documentaries. Inspired by her work, time with chimpanzees, and dedication to protecting the environment, we felt her story and legacy are important and should be shared with our community.

Jane Goodall once said, “What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” She reminds us that we each have a choice in the impact we make in this life. It could be a kind word, an act of care, making a choice about what we consume, how we interact with each other, or how we care for the planet’s resources. That’s how change happens – though each of us, every day.

This exhibit features photographs taken by our grandfather, Kenneth Love, while he was working on a National Geographic TV special in Tanzania in 1982, as well as excerpts from our interview with him about his experience. We hope you enjoy it!"
