Within our Police Benevolent Association the Police Officers, Detectives, Sergeants and command staff of the Larchmont Police Department are united by a common goal:

To create a safe environment by providing a superior level of police service to the Larchmont Community. We achieve this goal by ensuring that the men and women who diligently protect the Larchmont Community are protected themselves

. This organization is a union created to ensure the safety and well being of all members of Larchmont Police Benevolent Association. To further achieve this goal the Larchmont Police Benevolent Association is constantly striving to enhance our relationship and connection with the Larchmont Community. This organization and its members value the people of this great community above all else. The men and women of the Larchmont Police Benevolent Association pledge: We will always hold ourselves to the highest level of professionalism, courtesy and respect when handling the issues facing our esteemed community.

Had an amazing time at our recent “Coffee with a Cop” event at Empire Bagels! ☕👮‍♂️

It was great to see community members come together, share conversations, and build stronger connections with our local officers. Events like this remind us how important open dialogue and mutual support are in creating a safe, welcoming neighborhood.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and helped make the event such a success. And of course, shoutout to Empire Bagels for hosting and keeping the coffee flowing!

A little sugar, a lot of smiles—thank you for such a fun cookie event! 🍪😊! Earlier in the month Larchmont Police Department participated in the first annual Cookies with a Cop at Chatsworth Avenue Elementary School! A huge thank you to everyone who made this day possible!

The Larchmont Police Department proudly congratulates Lieutenant Ronald Knudsen on his retirement after 37 years of dedicated service to the department and community. February 13th marked Lieutenant Knudsen’s final day, surrounded by fellow members of service, friends, family, local business owners, and residents during his walkout ceremony.

We thank him for his 37 years of commitment, leadership, and professionalism, and we wish him a safe, healthy, and well-deserved retirement.

This cat was dropped off at Larchmont Police Department today, due to the weather local shelters and animal hospitals are closed.
