The Mamaroneck-Larchmont Student Aid Fund

Welcome to the Mamaroneck-Larchmont Student Aid Fund! The Student Aid Fund is a privately funded non-profit organization founded 85 years ago.

Check in about your award --- or donate to help Mamaroneck High School grads with the costs of attending college. Its Board is made up of volunteers from across the community who work together to broaden the educational opportunities of our graduating students. Our mission is to increase access to a college education for MHS scholars by providing scholarships and support as they embark on their college careers.

Student Aid Fund - College Scholarships
Attention Seniors and Parents--

Do you need scholarship money to help pay for your education next year? The SAF (Mamaroneck Larchmont Student Aid Fund) offers need based scholarships to help fund your education after high school.

Do I qualify for this? If you applied for financial aid to continue your education after high school, you may qualify. If you are still not sure, ask Brittney Strachn, the MHS Financial Aid Advisor, or your MHS Counselor or contact us at [email protected].

When do I apply? NOW! Applications are currently open and the deadline is Friday, March 20.

Do you need help with your application? SAF is holding 2 Application Completion Sessions on:

Wednesday, January 28 and Thursday, March 19. More information on these dates will be available soon.

Important meeting coming up for 10th and 11th graders

College Panel (virtual) 6:30pm - December 10th

MHS is hosting their annual College Panel (virtual) on Wednesday, December 10th at 6:30pm. They hope many students and parents can join them to find out more about what colleges are looking for in successful applicants.
Their panel will be dynamic and diverse. They will be sharing the link to join the meeting on Tuesday, December 9th.

Update from the MHS Financial Aid Advisors:

The 2026-2027 FAFSA application and the CSS Profile are currently available. Please remember only 12th grade students/families should be completing and submitting financial aid applications this year.

Upcoming:
MHS will be having FAFSA completion workshops on Wednesday, November 12th and Thursday, November 13th.

Richard Alvarez, Former CUNY University Director of Admission, will be presenting along with a special announcement from the Mamaroneck-Larchmont Student Aid Fund.

It’s already October - the new academic school year is in full swing.
