AmeriCorps Seniors offers two wonderful opportunities. Foster Grandparents mentor and encourage children in local schools and childcare centers, while Senior Companions provide friendship and practical support to older adults and people with disabilities.

Qualifying volunteers may receive a tax-free stipend, transportation reimbursement and meal reimbursement—all while forming meaningful relationships and making a lasting difference.

🛝Help Shape the Future of Larchwood’s City Parks!🛝

The City of Larchwood is seeking volunteers to serve on a new Parks Committee. The committee will help develop a comprehensive plan for updating the playground equipment in the City Park. Members will research equipment options and costs, explore available grants and other funding opportunities, and make recommendations for future improvements.
