The Planning Department is looking for good candidates for a Planner II position.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Science or Arts from an accredited college or university in Urban Planning or a related field and at least two (2) years of progressively responsible experience performing public agency work or related. Master's Degree in a related field will substitute for experience.

The Planning Department has created a portal for the public to view the "Application Status" of any project that was recently submitted. We are providing the public information about the changes occurring around the city and increasing transparency to the process.

Application Processes that the Planning Department manages:
- Annexations; Platting; Zoning
- Board of Adjustments; Historic Board
- And Other procedural needs
(Ex. Street Addressing, Zoning Verification, and Utility Connection)
