Know ya facts!!

Tonight, right as I walked in the door after an amazing meeting with the True Texas Project, I received this message:

“I just finished a phone survey asking about Janie Lopez and Kristin Luckey. They claimed Kristin voted Democrat up until this year, that she supported Biden’s border policies, and that she voted against pro-life candidates. Is any of this true?”

Let me be 100% clear: These claims are bold-faced lies.

I did NOT vote Democrat “up until this year.”
I worked for a Republican candidate just last year and voted for her multiple times, along with many other Republicans over the years.

I have NEVER supported Biden’s border policies.
My husband was Border Patrol agent who worked as a boat captain on the Rio Grande and who also served with U.S. Fish & Wildlife on the river until his retirement. My father-in-law is retired Border Patrol, and my step-mother-in-law was one the first female Border Patrol agents. Our family has lived border security firsthand. The majority of my closest friends are married to BP Agents. The idea that I would support anything other than securing the border is simply absurd.

The claim that I “voted against pro-life candidates” is impossible to verify and completely fabricated.
No one knows how any individual voter marks their ballot, which shows you exactly what kind of smear this is.

These kinds of lies come from one place: a campaign that knows it’s in trouble and is desperate to distract voters.
