Proud to see a vision come full circle at Laredo College.

The rededication of the Raquel González Automotive Technology Center is especially meaningful—not just as a tribute to a steward of education, but as the realization of decisions and investments made. To witness those plans now materializing into real opportunities for our students is incredibly rewarding.

These new facilities, equipped with state-of-the-art automotive lifts, modernized electrical and diagnostic labs, and enhanced learning spaces, represent exactly what we envisioned: a forward-thinking environment where our Palominos can gain the hands-on skills needed to succeed in today’s workforce.

The impact of these decisions will be felt for generations to come. 🚗🔧🎓

Another incredible year on the course—made possible by an even more incredible community ⛳️💚

As a proud board member of Communities In Schools, I’m grateful to witness firsthand what happens when people come together with purpose.

From our amazing golfers to our dedicated volunteers, supportive sponsors, committed board members, and hardworking team, the 28th Annual Yolanda Urrabazo Memorial Golf Tournament was a true reflection of community in action.

Your support goes far beyond the course—it directly impacts the lives of students who need it most.

Thank you for showing up, giving back, and believing in our mission. Here’s to another successful tournament and the many lives changed because of it! 🌟
