It's time to clear out those unwanted bulky items! Please have all eligible items placed at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on collection day to ensure pickup.

• Furniture
• Mattresses and box springs

• Exercise equipment
• Scrap metal and other bulky household items

🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE 🚨

Effective June 15, 2026, the City of Laredo Landfill will NO LONGER accept:

❌ Split & triple-cut tires
❌ Quartered tires
❌ Shredded or crumb rubber

✅ Only whole tires will be accepted for disposal at rates outlined in the ordinance.

📢 NOTICE: Service Adjustments for Wednesday, June 17, 2026

In observance of Global Garbage Man Day, the Environmental Services & Solid Waste Services Department will host a ROAD-E-O event on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

As a result, the following services will be affected:

🚛 Residential and commercial solid waste collection services will be suspended.
♻️ The City of Laredo Landfill will be closed.
🏢 Environmental & Solid Waste Services administrative offices will be closed.
🌿 Lawn clipping collection services will not be provided and will be rescheduled for the following week.

Additionally, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday on Friday, June 19, 2026, certain services will be affected.

✅ All services will resume normal operations on Monday, June 22, 2026.
