The City of Laredo invites residents to dispose of unwanted bulky items at no cost during our upcoming Bulky Waste Drop-Off Event.

📌 Self-unloading is required.

📢 NOTICE: Service Adjustments for Wednesday, June 17, 2026

In observance of Global Garbage Man Day, the Environmental Services & Solid Waste Services Department will host a ROAD-E-O event on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

As a result, the following services will be affected:

🚛 Residential and commercial solid waste collection services will be suspended.
♻️ The City of Laredo Landfill will be closed.
🏢 Environmental & Solid Waste Services administrative offices will be closed.
🌿 Lawn clipping collection services will not be provided and will be rescheduled for the following week.

Additionally, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday on Friday, June 19, 2026, certain services will be affected.

✅ All services will resume normal operations on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we recognize the hard work and dedication of our sanitation professionals! 👷‍♂️👏

🇺🇸 MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY SCHEDULE 🇺🇸

Service schedule for Memorial Day, Monday, May 25,2026:

✅ Regular Residential Garbage Collection. Place carts at the curb by 6:00 a.m.

🏞️ The City Landfill will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting).

🚫 Administrative Offices will be Closed

🌿🚫 Lawn-clipping and branch collection services will NOT be provided on Monday, May 25,2026.

🧹 Need to get rid of brush, bulky items, or debris?

FREE disposal every Saturday (up to 1 ton) for residential trash!

👉 Loads over 2000 pounds (1 ton) will be charged $51.50 per ton.
📍 Location: 6912 State Hwy 359, Laredo, TX 78046

🪪 What to bring:
• Valid ID
• Water bill with matching address (must show residential garbage fee)

🕒 Hours (Weather Permitting):
• Monday – Saturday
• Pickup trucks: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pickup trucks w/ trailer: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
