The Laredo Police Department took part this morning in the Click It or Ticket news conference at the parking lot of Doctors Hospital of Laredo.

LPD joined the Texas Department of Transportation, other law enforcement counterparts and community leaders in front of a sports car suspended in a web of seatbelts to call on the community to always buckle up.

Wearing a seatbelt could prevent serious injury or worse in a crash. Authorities reminded the community to buckle up in every seat and every ride.

Laredo PD also reminds the community that the Click It or Ticket campaign is underway, and it ends May 31.
