✨ A Night to Remember! ✨

Our 8th Grade Jaguars closed out the school year in style at Prom! Dressed to impress and ready to celebrate, our students enjoyed an evening filled with laughter, dancing, friendship, and unforgettable memories.

As they prepare to take the next step into high school, we are so proud of all they have accomplished during their time at Lamar Bruni Vergara Middle School. Congratulations, Jaguars! We wish you continued success and an amazing future ahead. 🐾

Yesterday, we celebrated seven incredible educators whose dedication, passion, and commitment have left a lasting impact on generations of students at Lamar Bruni Vergara Middle School.

Thank you for the years of guidance, encouragement, and countless memories you have given our Jaguar family. Your hard work and love for education have helped shape the future of so many students and inspired fellow educators along the way.

As you begin this new chapter, we wish you happiness, relaxation, and endless new adventures. Your legacy will forever remain part of LBVMS.

- Our 2025-2026 Yearbook has arrived and has been passed out to students that ordered it.
- We will have a booth for parents to purchase the few ones that we have extra during the awards ceremony.

A "Grimm" Day to Remember at Lamar Bruni Vergara Middle School!

Today was a page-turner for our 7th graders! We were honored to host the brilliant Adam Gidwitz, author of the fan-favorite A Tale Dark & Grimm series.

Our students didn't just meet an author; they met the mastermind behind the stories they’ve been dissecting, debating, and bringing to life all semester. Seeing their hard work—from detailed literary analysis to creative hands-on projects—culminate in a conversation with Adam himself was truly special. Students asked deep questions about the writing process and the "darker" side of fairy tales. Mr. Gidwitz got a firsthand look at the incredible Grimm-inspired projects our 7th graders created and were reminded that every great story starts with a single, sometimes messy, idea.

Huge thanks to our 7th Grade ELAR legends Ms. A. Salinas, Mr. F. Garza, Mr. O. Guerra, and Mr. T. Castillo for turning lessons into adventures. In addition, a special thank you to our librarian, Mrs. C. Guerrero, for organizing this incredible author visit!

Last but certainly not least, thank you, Mr. Gidwitz, for visiting Lamar Bruni Vergara Middle School and for showing our students that reading is an adventure worth taking!
