Today, Sunday Aug 9th, 2026; the incoming 7th graders participated in a tournament as they continue to get ready for tryouts for the incoming 26-27 school year. Coaches (former LBV athletes): Nichole Solis & Ilym Castaneda did a great job encouraging and motivating our jaguars to push hard and play with the heart. As always, a big thank you to the parents for their time and support 🐾

💙 A Heartfelt Farewell to a Jaguar Leader 🐾

Today, the LBVMS family came together to say farewell to a Principal, Mrs. Clare Flores, who has dedicated 13 years of leadership, service, and love to our Jaguar community.

Our teachers and staff shared heartfelt words of gratitude, reflecting on the impact she has made on so many lives throughout the years. While saying goodbye is never easy, we are grateful for the memories, the lessons, and the countless moments that will remain a part of the LBVMS story.

Thank you for 13 incredible years of leadership and dedication. We wish you nothing but happiness and success as you begin your next adventure! ❤️

Today, Lamar Bruni Vergara Middle School had the pleasure of welcoming the Region One College & Career Mobile Lab! 🚍🎓

Students and staff had the opportunity to explore the mobile lab and learn about the many college and career readiness resources it offers. The Region One Mobile Lab provides hands-on support in areas such as college exploration, FAFSA and ApplyTexas assistance, scholarship searches, career exploration, resume writing, job search skills, interview preparation, and skills and interest assessments.

A big thank you to our Gear Up Facilitator Ms. D. Morales and the Region One team for visiting LBVMS and inspiring our Jaguars to dream big, plan ahead, and prepare for success beyond the classroom!
