In our African Immigrant Heritage Month documentary, Council Members reflect on what it means to carry their parents’ and grandparents’ stories with them while serving their community here in Prince George’s. From navigating identity and belonging, to honoring the sacrifices of those who came before them, their stories reflect the strength and resilience of generations.
