Meet Coach David! 🎾

With more than 25 years of experience coaching youth tennis, Coach David brings a wealth of knowledge to the courts at Southwest Rec. Coach David is a former Junior State Champion and college varsity tennis captain, Certified RSPA Elite Instructor, and parent to five nationally ranked tennis players.

Coach David teaches youth and teen tennis at Southwest Rec on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Cool off with Indoor Drop-in Pickleball at Largo Rec! 🏓

Southwest and Highland Rec offer indoor pickleball for daily play, with varying times and dates at each facility. Paddles and balls are available for use. This program is healthcare eligible.

New pricing starts Sep 1. Drop-in fees are $5 for members, $10 for non-members.

Learn how to decorate cookies at Cookie Decorating Workshop! 🍪

Hosted at Highland Rec, each beginner-friendly class features a new theme and teaches basic decorating techniques, piping tips, and fun designs. All supplies are provided, and each person will decorate 5 cookies to take home and enjoy.

Largo Central Park Playground updates are in progress! 🛝

The Parks Department has begun leveling the surface in preparation for installing the new playground. The Ninja Course 3 is also taking shape, with installation of the structure now underway.
