Sharing this email received today about Dr. Sandra Lilo. She visited our club many times to speak on the Rotary Foundation and her efforts as a dental surgeon serving children in their third world countries.

Dear District 6950 Rotarians,
Earlier this month, our Rotary family lost Sandra Jean Lilo, our District International Service Chair and a dedicated member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Seminole Lake.
Sandra lived a remarkable life of service...to her country as a United States Air Force veteran, to her community, to Rotary, and to people around the world. Her compassion, generosity, and commitment to helping others truly reflected the very best of Rotary.
I am attaching information regarding Sandra’s Celebration of Life, which will be held on Saturday, September 26, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at Traditions on Tyrone in St. Petersburg, for anyone in our district who would like to attend and honor her memory.
I am also including her obituary for those who would like to learn more about Sandra’s extraordinary life and the many people she touched:

Please keep Sandra’s family, friends, and fellow Rotarians in your thoughts as we remember a wonderful Rotarian and a life devoted to Service Above Self.
With love and gratitude,
Mark Middleton
