hambers of Commerce. The program consists of an opening retreat, six day-long sessions focused on different aspects of the parish, and a graduation ceremony for those who complete the program. Held throughout Lafourche Parish, the monthly sessions feature speakers with expertise in industry, business, environment, healthcare, government, education, and law enforcement, allowing for a unique, hands-on learning experience.

Tonight, we celebrate more than a graduation — we celebrate leadership, growth, service, and the incredible individuals who make our community stronger every single day.

Serving as Executive Director of Leadership Lafourche has given me the privilege of watching this class challenge themselves, build lasting relationships, and gain a deeper understanding of the people, industries, and issues that shape our parish. What began as a group of professionals quickly became a team of leaders committed to making a difference.

To our graduates: thank you for your dedication, your enthusiasm, and your willingness to lead with purpose. Your investment in this program is truly an investment in the future of Lafourche. As the Leadership Lafourche Class of 2026 wraps up their final session, we reflect on the past few months together where these dedicated leaders have explored the issues, opportunities, and partnerships that shape Lafourche Parish. Now, they are just one step away from graduation!

Thank you to Ochsner St. Anne Hospital for hosting our session on Leadership and a very informative welcome and a special visit from Ochsner Health AirMed as well!

We heard from all three candidates for Lafourche Parish President. Thank you for your commitment to serve Lafourche.

The Leadership Equation was presented by NSU MBA Director Ray Peters and was the final presentation of our program designed to make you think leadership and go forth and lead.
