❤️‍🩹The Threads Are Coming Loose❤️‍🩹

My doctor looked me straight in the eye and said it.

“The threads are starting to come loose on your body garment.
Everything’s still there — but it’s all failing at once.”

I’m not going into details. But it’s real. And it’s a lot.

So there I am at his brand new office. He’s excited. Big news — they have a lab right inside the building.

Perfect. That’s exactly why I dragged myself there.

I fasted. I prepared. I showed up.
Then the nurse comes out.
“The lab is too full. You’ll have to come back another day.”
I lost it. Full Kathy. High horse. The whole production.

“I’m RIGHT HERE. Five minutes. That’s all I need. If you can’t handle the volume — hire more people. And stop advertising a lab you can’t actually use.”

I looked around that waiting room.
I was the only one there.

But here’s what was really going on underneath all that noise.

I panicked.

I’m not supposed to be driving long distances. I did it anyway. No caretaker with me. Not feeling well. And now they want me to drive another 35 minutes to a separate lab?

That’s when I stopped. And I used The Golden Method.
Not right away — I’ll be honest. I waited too long.

But when I finally did it, I stepped outside myself and looked in.
Okay Kathy. You can do this.
And I could.

I drove to the lab. Got it done. Then called the office and apologized for being rude.

The world doesn’t revolve around Kathy Tarochione. I’m almost 80. A lot is wrong with me. I should have gone to The Golden Method first.
Next time I will.

I’m home now. New meds. Waiting to see if I can avoid another hospital run.

Biting the bullet. Staying tough.
