Today our GIS/CAD Administrator, Nick Jeter, leaves us for new opportunities.

Nick played a vital role in CAD implementation and updates to our 911 dispatch center and for the First Responders in our community.

GIS is the heartbeat behind Enhanced and Next Generation 911. We will miss you, your quick wit and dry humor.

We wish you all the best in the next chapter of your career. Take care and don’t be a stranger.

Congratulations to Ellie Mae Apodaca for being chosen as MVRDA's Employee of the Month for November 2018!

Ellie has been working really hard as a trainer and has gone above and beyond to try different techniques in order to help trainees succeed.

She is currently the trainer on the DASO channels. There have been many challenging situations in which she has excelled and maintained a respectful and professional attitude/demeanor.

She has been dependable and diligent in her work. She upholds the highest standards when it comes to the expectations she has of her trainees.

Job well done Ellie!

Congratulations to Rebecca Najera for being chosen as MVRDA's Employee of the Month for October 2018!

On Oct 16th, Rebecca handed a call where a special needs child was left behind on a school bus. Rebecca utilized resources to gather the information needed to get this child help. Through Rebecca's calming professional voice she was able to calm the crying child. The child was said to be jumping for joy when DASO made contact with him.

On Oct 23rd, Rebecca was the Lead on duty when a prisoner escaped custody from a transport team in our area. Again, she utilized her resources to make sure operations were handled well on MVRDA’s end.

Rebecca has served as Lead several times. She displays a positive attitude daily and has a great rapport with fellow employees as well as the agencies we serve.

Good Job and Congratulations Rebecca! Well deserved!!
