TODAY marks the beginning of hunting season in Texas and many other states!

As you're out in the field, know where New World screwworm cases have been detected and what to do if you spot something suspicious. Immediately report any suspicious wounds, maggots, or infestations in wildlife to 866-4USDA-WS.

💧 Water Management Workshop 💧

A free Water Management Workshop will be held October 9 from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Fabian Garcia Research Center in Las Cruces, followed by lunch.

The workshop will cover practical water management and conservation strategies for row crops, orchards, and horticultural crops, as well as crop diversification for semi-arid cropping systems.
