LCDF Early Head Start

LCDF Early Head Start Center and Home Based program for eligible children ages 0-3 and Expectant Mothers Families must reside in the Las Cruces Public Schools district to qualify.

Free center based and home based services available to eligible low income families with children birth to 3 years of age and pregnant women. Parents of children with disabilities and fathers are strongly encouraged to apply.

Our Early Head Start families had a wonderful time at Pajama Story Night Friday! Children and their families came dressed in their favorite pajamas and enjoyed a cozy blanket picnic while reading their favorite books together. Families also explored fun tents set up for reading and relaxation and enjoyed delicious snacks. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening filled with literacy, family bonding, and lots of fun memories!

🛝LCDF Early Head Start families enjoyed a wonderful Father’s Day Picnic Socialization today at La Llorona Park! Families had the opportunity to explore the new jungle gym, participate in fun water and gross motor activities, and enjoy a hands-on snack activity where they made their own sandwiches together.

Yesterday, our Early Head Start families enjoyed a fun Toy Lending Library Socialization! Families had the opportunity to sign up for the lending library and check out educational toys to take home and enjoy with their children. These toys help support learning, development, and quality family time.
