LCDF Early Head Start

LCDF Early Head Start Center and Home Based program for eligible children ages 0-3 and Expectant Mothers Families must reside in the Las Cruces Public Schools district to qualify.

Free center based and home based services available to eligible low income families with children birth to 3 years of age and pregnant women. Parents of children with disabilities and fathers are strongly encouraged to apply.

What an amazing day at Myrna’s Children’s Village! Our families came together to enjoy a fun-filled event packed with hands-on learning and connection.

From engaging STEM activities that sparked curiosity, to exploring community resources, there was something for everyone. The kids loved getting to meet the firemen, explore exciting bug interactions, and experience the magic of invisible drawing! 🐞🚒

It was a wonderful opportunity for families to learn, play, and grow together while creating lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this day so special! 💛

Last week was full of color, smiles, and sweet memories! 💛🐣

On April 8th, 2026, our Early Head Start families gathered at Unidad Park for a fun-filled Egg Painting Socialization. Little hands got creative with bright colors, turning simple eggs into tiny works of art while laughter filled the park. 🎨🥚

It was such a beautiful day of connection, creativity, and community. Families had the chance to bond, share moments together, and watch their children explore and express themselves in the most joyful way. 🌈
